This is a kind of CRUMBLE
We need:
Crumble
225 g plain flour
90 g sugar
1 pinch salt
115 g butter
some grated lemon peel
Filling
100 g sugar
1 kg cottage cheese
3 eggs
1/2 cup raisins soaked in rum
some grated lemon peel
Directions
Shift flour sugar salt and grated lemon peel into a bowl. Cut the butter into chunks and rub it into flour. Mix with your hands until you get a mixture that looks like breadcrumbs. Set aside.
In an another bowl rub eggs and sugar until pale and thick.Add cottage cheese, raisins and grated lemon peel.
Grease a baking sheet with some butter and "flour" with crumb. Pour the cheese composition . Sprinkle the crumble topping over the cheese, pilling it high in the middle of the dish and leaving space at the edge.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 min. Cheese must be cooked and the crumble golden on top.
Serve like that, or with cream. But a much better serve idea : “serve with custard!”
